Following the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River, a team from Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Nepal reached Trishuli on Bhadra 21, 2083 (6 September 2026) to assess the situation of Sri Sathya Sai Centres/Groups in the area, extend relief support, and provide necessary assistance.
The devastation caused by the flood was deeply distressing. The building of the Sri Sathya Sai Bhajan Group, Trishuli, was also swept away by the flood. Some of our Sai brothers and sisters tragically lost their lives, while many families suffered severe losses to their homes, belongings and livelihoods.
In this difficult hour, and in keeping with Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings of Love, Selfless Service and Compassion, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Nepal handed over relief and essential supplies to the members of the local Sri Sathya Sai Bhajan Group. The local Sai volunteers will distribute these materials to affected families and communities in the Trishuli area according to their needs and circumstances.
The relief supplies included:
For Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Nepal service is an expression of love and an opportunity to see and serve the Divine in every person. In this time of adversity, our effort is not merely to provide material assistance, but to stand beside affected families with love, dignity, compassion and selfless service.
Our efforts to remain with the affected families and communities and to continue our seva and support during this difficult period will continue.
