Education in Human Values Training in Nepal


The Institute of Sri Sathya Sai Education Nepal (ISSEN) conducted two days Introductory Training on EHV in two different places of the country. In the first training, 123 teachers of private schools completed the 2 day training on 8-9 January 2016. The District Education Officer of Government of Nepal as a chief guest spoke highly on relevancy of the Bhagawan’s idea of integrating values in the present educational system. At the end of training, the participants provided positive feedbacks on the content of the training and demonstrated the conviction to integrate values along with academic course in their respective schools. The program came to an end after offering mangal aarati to Bhagawan.

The other such similar training program was organized in the eastern part of the country, on 29-30 January. 153 teachers of private schools of Nepal and 10 teachers from the neighbouring country Bhutan received the training. The program received similar feedback for the participants. Those who came from Bhutan have requested ISSEN to conduct similar program in Bhutan.

Apart from above, as a part of taking EHV to the community The Institute of Sathya Sai Education Nepal also conducted an hour and a half long talk program on 8 January 2016 to the 120 medical students and professionals of Nepal Medical College, Atterkhel in Kathmandu. The director of the institute highlighted the need for human values in medical education, the process of integrating human values in medical and non-medical courses and essentials of self-management, a very useful guide for successful medical professionals.
