Devotees in Nepal always look forward to celebrating their beloved Bhagawan Baba’s day of advent, 23 November, as Kaliyug Avatar with much awe and reverence. The entire nation celebrates this event for five days, from 19th November until 23rd November. The celebration comprises of Woman’s Day, Youth Day, Education Day, Service Day and Day of Advent with various service activities on each day.
The 97th day of advent of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was, like in the preceding years, organized in a grand manner at various 227 Sri Sathya Sai Centres and Bhajan Groups across the country.
Main activities included Omkaram, Shuprabhatam, Nagarsankirtan, Veda Recitation, Laksharchana, Study Circles, Old Age Home Service, Blood donation, and Blanket distribution, Narayan Seva, etc. Thousands of devotees outside of organization visited Sai Centres for the darshan and prasadam. The celebration at the centres were preceded with hundreds of devotees in a grand procession carrying Swami’s photo on palanquin and placard that followed the vibrant Veda chanting and soulful Bhajan singing.
