The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Nepal organized a free health camp at Shree Chandrajyoti Secondary School in Vidur-5, Nuwakot, on Saturday, September 19, 2026 (Ashwin 3, 2083 BS).
The camp was set up to help families affected by the devastating Bhote Koshi-Trishuli floods on August 26, 2026 (Bhadra 10, 2083 BS). Specialist doctors provided free checkups and consultations across various fields, including General medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and Neurology, ENT, Eye care, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and Dentistry. Radiology services were available for those who needed them, and patients also received free medicines and eyeglasses.
Over 600 people received health checkups during the event, supported by around 50 dedicated Sai volunteers who served throughout the day. Narayan Seva (Free meals) were also served to everyone present. During the camp, a group of young volunteers gathered at Devighat—a site heavily ruined by the floods—and recited Vedic chants for an hour to pray for peace and healing in the community.
Additionally, bhajan items, including a throne (Singhasan) and a picture of Bhagawan, were provided to the Sri Sathya Sai Centre Trishuli. Since the original centre was completely washed away by the floods, the centre’s president and local devotees have already rented a new space to keep the activities going.
