Bhadra Krishna Amawashya is celebrated in Nepal as Father’s Day with much reverence and obeisance to both the living as well as the departed father. This tradition is as old as the country itself.
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 2010 so lovingly accepting, as Universal Father, the reverence of about 1300 youths of Nepal, bestowed them to conduct a cultural program at Kulwant Hall on this day which fell that year on 8th September. Ever since, youths of Nepal have been celebrating this day as Kripa Smaran Diwas (Gratitude Day) with various cultural programs all through the country.
This year too, keeping with the tradition, youths of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization Nepal offered musical programs at the lotus feet of our beloved lord at various parts of the country. Thousands of devotees across the country watched the awesome programs so lovingly and reverentially conducted by hundreds of youth. All the programs, started with the Omkaram, Veda Chanting, Bhajan, Musical Rendition and Plays, came to conclusion with Mangal Aarati to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
